This blouse! Need I say more?! I had ordered a similar version of it from the H&M website, but when it arrived, I have to admit I was deceived in the quality and had to return it. Therefore, I was quite happy to find this one at Zara. It gave me the same effect, due to the ruffle details on the shoulders, and felt a lot softer on my skin. When I brought it home however, my husband looked at me like I had lost my mind. “You’re going to wear that…out..?!” Needless to say, he wasn’t too keen on the idea when I told him I was planning to style it for the blog.
Nonetheless, I stuck to my guns and proceeded in pairing the statement piece with pinstripe trousers and heels for a very polished and professional look. In the end, I loved the final result (and so did my skeptic husband, lol)! But what I like most about the look would have to be the contrast brought by the handbag. A little pop of red through something as simple as an accessory can really do wonders.
