Champagne Pop (my festive 30th birthday)

Well, it happened guys. I turned 30!

And despite having moments where I wish I could slow down time or I wish I could relive my 20s,  it is with much pride and excitement that I am entering a new decade. It was my first time celebrating my birthday in The Bay and I can honestly say it was one to remember! I enjoyed a weekend-long celebration with my husband and friends, full of champagne, food, partying and a staycation at the beautiful Palace Hotel.

To celebrate this milestone, I decided to host my friends to a champagne-themed brunch on Sunday at none other than The Riddler. The Riddler is an amazing champagne bar, located in the heart of San Francisco. With its incredibly instagramable decor, chic atmosphere and decadent selection of caviar and champagne, it’s no surprise The Riddler is one of my favorites spots in the city. They hosted us to a fabulous brunch, with a selection of delectable patisseries, followed by the sabering of a magnum of champagne! The perfect way to end the weekend-long festivities.

Waking up one year older, I didn’t feel different in the slightest. However, to be completely honest with you, I fought with the idea of announcing my age on social media. But after much deliberation, I’ve never been happier in my career, in love and in life than where I am right now. Having reached this age and reflecting on my journey, I can’t help but look back with joy, confidence and grace. I am looking forward to what lies ahead and I can’t wait to start this new chapter in my life.
