1 skirt, 3 ways

First post of 2019 and we’re starting off strong with 3 looks in 1! Being as I surely am the most indecisive person in the world, I couldn’t make up my mind on how to style my new, statement, leopard skirt. I therefore turned to you guys (which if you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw the poll on my stories) to seek advice on which top to pair with it. But did that stop me from styling it 2 more times..? Absolutely not! This skirt is so fab, it would have been a crime not to.

For the first look, I styled the skirt with the winner of the IG poll, a black, formfitting turtleneck, which being my first choice as well, I really wasn’t mad about. We kept things quite neutral by pulling from the same tones as the skirt, black and camel. When working with prints, you can never go wrong by using the same colors that are in the said pattern. It’s such a classic, monochromatic look and for that reason, it is probably still my favorite one.

For the second option, I added a pop of color with the newest addition to my handbag collection, my Gucci backpack. I absolutely adore pairing red with leopard. They truly complement each other so well and never fail to elevate an outfit. Finished the look with some white booties for warmth, which also helped pull from the white in the t-shirt.

Last, but not least, the final pairing consisted of a grey turtleneck, which I tucked under my bra to give it a cropped effect; trick that I learned from Valeria Lipovetsky, one of my biggest style inspiration! This whole outfit is also very much inspired by her. She is the queen of styling maxi skirts with oversized sweaters and I could definitely see her wearing this look.

However, the real question now is, which is your favorite outfit? Comment down below! I would love to know your take on it and what you would’ve styled the skirt with.

xoxo
