We’ve been seeing a multitude of fun and intriguing looks on the runway this season and some of them definitely caught my eye!
Here are my top five favorite fashion trends for Fall 2016.
- Velvet
Definitely this season’s favored texture, velvet has been appearing everywhere. From dresses to track suits — every designer is using the soft fabric this fall.
- The updated white shirt
A twist on your classic white shirt, I just love the more structured look and different silhouettes.
- Chokers
Chokers were a very big hit this summer and will continue to be so in the colder months. Expect to see more imposing and bolder variations.
- Extreme Sleeves
Coming in 70’s inspired, ruffled or victorian style, oversized statement sleeves are in this Autumn/Winter.
- Frayed and fringed hems
The rougher, the better! This season, I’m all about that raw, scissor-cut and fringed bottom.
I like the frayed hems trend on the denim. I feel like there are also trends of rips and holes in your denim. I notice this in both the male and female models. I really like those Gucci shoes that are paired with these jeans.

The chokers are my favorite. <3 We wear them here in India as well .. It looks amazing how you paired it up. The extreme sleeves are no doubt the current fashion trend.
