The classic camel coat… It truly is the epitome of winter fashion and a must-have in any fashion savvy girl’s closet. However, searching for the perfect one can be as hard as finding Waldo. I had been on the hunt for the “ideal” camel coat for over a year, but was unimpressed by the selection shown on the high street. I finally stumbled upon this slightly oversized one at Saks and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I ended up spending slightly more than what I had originally anticipated, but when it comes to outerwear, I believe it is worth investing into a sturdier, high-quality garment. It is such an elegant addition to my wardrobe that I will undeniably wear all winter long.
Whenever you think of a camel coat, you probably envision Victoria Beckham walking down the streets of London in her Christian Louboutin stilettos, with a long beige coat draped over her shoulders (or is that just me..?) And since most people associate this type of coat with a chic and refined ensemble, I wanted to tone down its polished appearance as to demonstrate its versatility.
