From a very young age, home decor has always been something close to my heart. The art of putting together furniture and accent pieces to create an aesthetically pleasing space has somehow always fascinated me.
Today I want to share with you the mood board I prepared for our living room, which contains some recent buys as well as some inspiration pieces. I found most of them online and I cannot wait to put everything together. Mood boards are essential when creating a space, especially when most of the pieces you order come from online stores. You want to make sure everything blends together to design a visually interesting and appealing decor.
For this particular area, I wanted to create a space that had a bit of glamour, but was still manly enough for my husband. To achieve this look I paired some bold/dark pieces (like this wooden coffee table and black butterfly chair), with gold accents and softer materials (for example velvet and faux-sheepskin). This combination is perfect for a unisex look.
I will make sure to post pictures of the final result once my living room is complete.
